The Active 20-30 Club of Napa provides civic minded young adults with an opportunity for personal growth, friendship, and leadership development, while improving the quality of life for children in our community.
Some History of the Active 20-30 Club of Napa...
The Active 20-30 Club of Napa is a service club made up of young men and women between the ages of 20 and 39. The club was founded in 1929 and chartered under the by-laws of The Active 20-30 Club U.S. & Canada, our parent organization. We are also affiliated with Active 20-30 International and the World Council of Service Organizations.
The first club to charter was in Sacramento and was originally founded as an all male organization for younger, civic-minded men as an alternative to the older Rotary clubs. Originally chartered as an all male club, the Napa Active 20-30 integrated membership in the early 1990's to allow the women of the former Napa Active Women's Club to remain active in the organization. Today the Napa Active 20-30 Club's membership is comprised of roughly equal numbers of men and women. |
