About the Active 20-30 Club of Napa #57

Active 20-30 US & Canada provides young adults with an opportunity for personal growth, friendships and leadership development while improving the quality of life for the special needs children in their community. Active 20-30 Club is unique from other service organizations in that we place a strong emphasis on an ACTIVE approach to community service—participating in a hands-on fashion.

Every year we offer our annual events—an Easter egg hunt, fishing derby, and Project Santa—all free to the community. Money is raised for community events through our fundraisers: our annual golf tournament and cornhole tournament. We also participate in special projects as they arise—playground construction and clean-up days, event assistance, and Junior Achievement.

It’s not all business in Active 20-30. Through service, our members develop strong friendships and have a lot of fun. Social events play a large role in 20-30 life, including barbecues, bowling nights, pub crawls, campouts, ski trips, baseball games, chili cook-offs, and visitations to other Active 20-30 clubs.

Members have the opportunity to travel nationally and internationally, meet new people, share in a common drive of service and develop new leadership skills. Our members have traveled to New Orleans, Costa Rica, Panama, the Dominican Republic and Mexico to volunteer their time at orphanages, Boys & Girls Clubs, and community centers.

One of the oldest standing service clubs in Napa County, Active 20-30 Club of Napa #57 was founded in 1930 and chartered under the bylaws of The Active 20-30 Club U.S. & Canada, our parent organization. Originally chartered as an all male club, the Active 20-30 Club of Napa integrated membership in the early 1990’s to allow the women of the former Napa Active Women’s Club to join the organization. Today, the Active 20-30 Club of Napa’s membership is comprised of roughly equal numbers of men and women.
